Maglocks

A Maglock is an electromagnetic lock which uses a strong magnet to hold the door locked. These also need armature plates and housings to secure them in place. They come in either fail safe, which means at the loss of power they become unlocked, or fail secure, which means they stay closed at the loss of power.

Maglocks also come in different holding forces to ensure they are suitable for the door they need to go on, they can have a holding force anything from 30kg – 1500kgs and possibly more as a special order.
