Union HD26S Heavy Duty Tubular Latch accepts bolt-through fixings. Contains splinter guard, adjustable striker plate, and fixing screws. Dual finish : Polished Brass bolt and Stainless Steel faceplate. Latch bolt withdrawn by the lever handle from either side. Case pierced to accept bolt through furniture. Bolt through fixings allows a more secure, longstanding fixing of door furniture overtime when compared to handles fixed with woodscrews. Suitable for sprung and light unsprung lever furniture, can also be used with knob furniture. Beveled latch bolt for smooth and positive engagement during operation. Two piece forend. Double sprung. Square forend and strike. Tested to BS EN 12209:2003. EN 1634-1 assessed for use on 30 and 60 minutes timber fire doors. CE Marked: EC Certificate 0086-CPR-633283. DoP: 101MLB which can be found at www.uniononline.co.uk/DoP. In addition to EN12209 requirements HD Tubular Latches have been cycle tested for over 1 million cycles through the follower and slam tested on the latch. 10 year guarantee.
