Description
The Chubb 3R35X 5 detainer mortice escape lock has the same features as the standard 3R35 but with the deadlocking facility removed, therefore allowing unrestricted escape by using the handle. The Chubb 5 detainer mortice deadlocking latch suitable for external wooden doors where a slam action is required. The 3R35x's bolt is automatically deadlocked when the door is closed, the door is opened from the inside by the operating handle (not supplied) and from the outside with the key. The bolt can be held back with the internal snib button.The Chubb 3R35X is suitable for fire exit door operation, the internal handle CANNOT be locked.
