The Yale No.1 and No.2 Rim Auto Deadlocking Nightlatch is Automatically deadlocked when door is closed and is particularly suitable for glass panel doors. The key operates the latch from the outside and a lever from the inside. The lever handle can be deadlocked from the inside, but still allowing access with key from the outside, the idea of this is to prevent someone gaining access through a letterbox.
